All dreams are weird

The last dream I had, and the one I woke up with this morning, was this:

I was Obama's daughter, but I was still kind of me. I was white, looked like me, but I was a kid. My hair was curled and I was well dressed. I remember feeling comfortable and confident but distracted because my family was going somewhere and I needed to meet them.  I was rushing around up suburban streets, knowing exactly where I was going and even though I was jogging, I wasn't sweating. It was sunny and summer, but it didn't feel hot. I finally got to where I was heading, and there was 'dad'. Obama saw me and motioned for me to sit next to him.

We were at some kind of outdoor auditorium sitting in plastic chairs and even though Obama was paying attention, he was slouching, looking very casual. Suddenly he was holding our well behaved family puppy. I remember thinking that for such a young puppy, she was very calm and well behaved. Then, we started chatting while we were both absent-mindedly rubbing the puppy's tummy. We started talking about cities in Canada and I kind of forget what we were saying about them, except Obama didn't know much about Canada. I had finished saying that something [don't know what exactly] is only really found in the bigger cities like Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Montreal and so on. We were still rubbing the puppy's tummy when Obama said "Aren't those all in the same place?".  I was about to reply when we were interrupted by someone asking Obama questions. I didn't hear any of it because I was still rubbing the puppy's tummy and thinking about how I would explain that Vancouver is near Seattle and thinking about the other nearby American cities to Canada's main cities.

Then the alarm went.

Huh.

Weird!...Obama has been in my dreams this week too! I caught him sneaking out of a building and he gave me a hug and an autograph.

Me thinks we are a tad bit obsessed...either than or Obama's visit to Canada tomorrow has been entirely too well covered in the news...
