Okay! i had a wicked awesome trip back to Ottawa with Rob. We spend time with both our families, didn't feel torn at the seams and managed to get to the cottage! The only hiccup was when the van didn't start at the cottage, we cqalled CAA, they came, then the van started. So, sorry CAA! Just in case, we left the van running when we stoped to pee on the way home.
But we made it. I borrowed my dad's juicer with big plans to make my own veg juice. I decided I would drink fresh veg juice for a day or two to flush out my system and get me on track for healthier living. This morning it was to begin. Unfortunately, we had no veggies due to the trip and by the time we got out the fdoor to go grocery shopping, I had eaten leftover pizza. Not an auspicious start. We thenscored piled of veggies inthe clearance section which was awesome, and I came home and made a jug of delicious veggie juice! It had a couple of tomatoes, some carrots, some celery, a pear, cucumberand green pepper. I had it for lunch and brunch and whenever. I lasted till dinner time. I caved and had some candy, then a big salad.
My two day juice diet lasted roughly 6 hours. Blasted self-discipline.
Anyway, I'm going to stick withthe juice, it's pretty good stuff and I'll keep eating well. It's definitely the season for good eating.
Okayyyyy, other than that it's business as usual.
take it easy out there.

I'm pretty skeptical about the juice diet thing. I mean, our species has teeth for a reason, right? You don't have to chew juice...
It was really nice to see you guys and I'm glad you made it back safely, with or without the help of CAA.
OOps I should havwe been clearer! The juice thing wasn't a new way of life, or a diet to lose weight, just a way to give my body a break from working through dairy, carbs and fibre which lets it...provcess better for a bit. It's a way to do it without full on starving yourself as the veg juice has a little fruit in it, so some sugars and lots of vitamins.
Aaaand self-discipline. Whoops! Heh. It was super nice to see you too, and we definitely prefer it without the help of CAA!
Hey! No worries about coinciding with Hillside - I saw he was a vendor there (WAY TO GO BTW) and we have weekend passes, so we'll be seein' ya! :))
PLUS, we could never compete with Hillside.. :)
