We brought Ludwig to the vet on Saturday to have a look at a tooth that was about halfway rotted though. Sure enough, it needed to come out and the little buddy's been at the vet all day today, making it rain (with my visa, natch) all over the vet and vet techs.
That blood work won't pay for itself, and since he's our special snowflake we opted to be cautious and make sure his organs could take the strain of anaesthesia and so on. Looks like he came through it perfectly well and is chilling on IV until we go to pick him up. Just the one tooth out, no extras which surprised me. We told the vet we're not likely to put him under again so do what you need to do, Ludwig doesn't use his teeth anyway (true story). Hopefully this works out to be the mid-life tune-up he needs to stay well for a good long while.
I guess I'm excited about the aeroplan points off the Visa. Sort of.
Hey, Nestle is running a promotion with ice cream , dog kibble and chocolate bars to give away aeroplan points, and until the end of the month it's 5X the points. I bought a box of clearance Halloween mini chocolate bars and ended up with 100 aeroplan points.
If you or anyone you know has a PIN on their ice cream or chocolate or dog kibble please, send'em my way. You can tell which ones are included because there's an orange circle on the package with e 10, 20, 50 etc. inside. We're collecting aeroplan obsessively to buy tickets to and from Ottawa. We've switched almost all our purchases over to my visa to rack up the points.
That's it that's all for now. It's -1 degrees and everybody is feeling funny after such a cold stretch. Also the sun is started to lighten the sky behind the mountains in the mornings on the way to work, sigh. Days are getting longer and longer, faster and faster.

Man, when Sandy had a rotten tooth, turned out half her mouth was rotten too. I think Baby J has more teeth than she does.
We used to have the Aeroplan points on our orange juice and bags of Tostitos.. haven't seen them in a while, but if I do I'll send you the codes.
