Day to day

Dusk on our way into town from the South Access

Rob made this kite for canada day and it was amazing, it flew for hours and we had to pull it down when we were ready to go. Shipyards park by the river is still a favourite spot.

Fireweed, the Yukon's official flower. You can get fireweed syrup, fireweed honey and other fireweed edibles. It's about 3 feet tall.
Mmm rob made a cake.
Swimming at Ear Lake, our local swimming hole. Supposedly it's where the nudies go, but no luck so far. It's about 5 minutes from home and a new favourite spot for us.

Our garden as of July 1st..today it's MUCH bigger and we can't keep up with the bok choi or the lettuce. The carrots and beets look great and the chard is coming along well. I better get ready to fill our little freezer. I'm happy we have a nice cold cellar for the poatoes coming in strong too. Hooray community garden!
