Blessed Geo Metro

We're getting lots of tourists in town these days. Lots of RV's (mostly parked at the Wal-Mart - ugh).

Anyway, we also see lots of cool trucks/army vehicles/eccentric people in cars. On the way into work this morning I saw a little Geo Metro (I hav a soft spot for these) with a little hitch open trailer PACKED with stuff. It has Tennessee plates and a bit Got Jesus sticker on the window (incidentally, no. I haven't).  So I was expecting a teen or twenty-something dude but it turned out that the car was packed to the gills around a 50 something guy with a bad look on his face in full fatigues.

The scene in my head went from sweet God-fearing kid seeing the country to a dude on a mission from God to MAKE US ALL SEE THE LIGHT. In a Geo Metro. A blessed Geo MEtro, one would assume.

Those suckers (by which I mean Geo Metros, of course) are everywhere in Vancouver. I guess without road salt and winter your car can last forever. I wonder if any of those are still kickin' back home?
