pictures!

We love to head out to Shipyards park by the river (jut beyond the trees there). This was two weekends ago. Now the trees are green with halfway there new leaves. Yesterday we were there for hours playing catch and flying RC and flying my new trick kite. A lady stopped to give us advice and we had a really good time. The sun set at 10ish but it was daylight until past 11, o we hung out till past bed time :-) I frigging love playing catch. When rob flew this toy yesterday he attracted 20 seagulls form nowhere, and they were all screaming and swooping. Pretty cool. 
This pic is a couple weeks old too. I swear it's 19 degrees, sunny and green here! Anyway, this raven is regular sized for here, and that means it is really, really large. 
Ah, KFC. From the park you can see KFC, Tim Horton's , Boston Pizza, A&W, Pizza Hut. Klassy. 
Rob and I working over our little plot a the community garden. You can't see it here but (heh, butt) Rob's work is literally right behind that blue house, about 50 steps away. So, pretty convenient, all told. We're late to plant, but we'll get the seeds and seedlings in tomorrow and see what happens. 
We were here yesterday and the grass is green, the dandelions are out, and the watering buckets are out. I should take more pictures to show you, because the clay cliffs are right behind the garden, you can sort of see the cliff foothills in the distance. 

The more time we spend here, the more we love it. We get to spend more time than ever together while we're here, because f our jobs and because we don't know too many people. W really, really like it. We wish you all were here with us. The it would be perfect, no???
