I send in my proposal finally. I guess the eagle has landed, but it sure was a sloppy, lopsided descent that ended up in a crunchy cartoonish finale affair that needed more facts and detail, but hey. It's in and there's nowhere to go but up!
Other things that make the world a shiny, happy place:
1. Vince Neil's Motley Cruise let me just say, oh my word.
2. Before work the other morning, Rob witnessed the black snail depositing another clutch of eggs in the aquarium! The black snail is a chica! We now have two clutches. If these things all hatch, we'll have to buy some kind of predatory fish, or raise them and sell them to expensive restaurants.
3. I can play three chords on my mandolin
4. My sister visited this past weekend. She brought hugs and copious amounts of gourmet tea.
5. I can choose to go to sleep right now and it will be guilt free.
6. Alanis Morissette doing Fergie's "My Humps" What a video! It's a keeper. My favourite par is around the 2:20 mark. Hi-yaaaaaaa!
7. Good vs. evil foosball set, with God, Francis of Assisi, Ghandi and more on good, Hitler, pot, Lady MacBeth and Vlad the Impaler and more on bad. Awesome.

the foosball link reminded me of a chess set that I once saw in a store window. It was advertised as the "christians vs muslims chess set"
I kid you not. I guess it's perfect for when you feel like playing full-on religious warfare a-la-crusades.
when i first saw the alanis my humps i couldn't believe that she did the whole song. it's so long when it's slow like that. it just went on and on and on... ug.
i'm glad you finally got your proposal done. that must feel good.
