Well, tomorrow's the day. We're going to pick up the truck, load it up in Orleans, load it up again at Kanata (including a mattress mart run, hooray queen size and new bed!), run back to orleans in the car to grab the cats and extend their delightful adventures in babysitting. Or osmehting. Then we head west! The Pet Shop Boys were adamant that it's the place to go. West, that is. You know.
Anyhoo, I'm excited to get on the road and finally see the apartment,warts and all. It will be very good, and I think that because it has windows, appliances, several rooms and very nice landlords.
Also, in exciting news, Rob has cut off all his dreads.

No seriously, he totally did and is very well adjusted, emotionally, about the whole thing. Apparently it's been on his mind and now it's done and his post dread but pre-styling haircut is very bee gees. Needless to day, it's awesome. Pictures to come someday, or when you see him next. It's cool.
Anyway, we have to make a list of thinsg to do tomorrow (don't forget the worms in the basement!) and then actually do them. I wish I could update sooner, but since we haven't bothered to set up a phone or internet line yet, that'll end up waiting.

on the road again - good luck with the truck! And congrats/condolences to R for having the willpower to go through with the haircut. Knowing my (lack of) ability to recognize new hair styles I probably wouldn't have noticed without having been told first.

No Kidding, pictures! I can't even picture that R. I truly hope that the apt and everything else will fall into place and wish you guys luck and fun in your new environment. Can't wait to hear from you and we'll try to keep you posted on this end!
