Craft freaks

This weekend was a balanced mix of busy and quiet, except the delivery was totally off...Friday night and Saturday were busy, and Sunday was not. At all.

We bought food on Friday, which ended up being important as that was our only chance, other than the midnight runwe went on after babysitting. What's the actual real point og 24 hour supermarkets? Was it really important that three people and an entire store be kept open so we could grab some cheap avocadoes and flax ($1.79 for 2 pounds!)? Really? I guess for people who work nights, but wow, what a lot of resources for...seemingly little return. Anyway.

Sunday, R and I stayed in (as in, never saw the light of day except out our windows) and shifted from our places only to put on more music and eat and make tea. For one full day, we did almost nothing contributing to our development as human beings, barely any planning, no work, no shopping or errands.

And for what? We are now the proud new owners of my first ever finished knitteed cardigan and R is the extra proud new owner of a finished, beautiful and playable banjo ukulele! Pictures to come...but it was an epic day! Hooray for craftiness! Our chances are limited to do things like
this and we took advantage and it was fun. My knitted cat bed has done its first round of felting and has more to ge, but I have 2 out of three knitted projects off the needles...only those dreaded socks to go.

Pictures coming soon, from the snowboarding and the latest creations of our little household.
