I was perusing oddtodd.com (check out the boss from hell weeklies, they're appalling and funny) and I found something I want to share.

PS oddtodd is this dude that got laid off in the dot-com crash and has been scraping a living making cartoons and doing odd jobs and getting people to send him $1 in the mail if people like his cartoons. From reading his updates he seems like a genuinely clueless moron at times, but he's equal parts thoughtful and entertaining, so while I wouldn't let him deliver a baby, he can review a movie anytime.

He was reviewing the movie Syriana which is about oil fields and corruption and stuff. He always says how the movie went for him (often he gets lost), what snacks he ate and then three good and three bad htings about the movie. One of the three bad things about Syriana according to OddtOdd is:

"- Anybody on screen could have been shot in the head at any time and I would have been emotionally fine with it."

That's so totally poignant. I just know I'm going to be thinking that all the time for the rest of the day. For example: Anyone at this backed up intersection could get shot in the head at any time and I'd be emotionally fine with it'. heh. That's funny. People at work will ask why I'm smiling, and I'm going to say "because it's such a nice day".
