This one will be quick, just a little update!
I have been officially tagging along with my friends Liz and Frank on this part of the tripo, since they ave it planned better. I'm in Summerside PEI for the Lobster festival celebrating the end of the serason. It's been remarkably ...quiety, but we're making a go of it. The w3erather is rainy and cold but we're having fun. We are staying in a hotel/motel thing on the cheap and it's great. We went swimming yesterfday in the heated pool, went and got some lobster off the wharf on the cheap and ate it in the hotel on plastic n the bed. What a feast!
Then we walked over to the harnedd races going on and stayed for 10 races, which are all about 2minutes long. We bet on all ten and full on picked the winner 8 times, and came in second once, and lost once!! It was amazing! We bet the same $2 each time and always bet to place (the horse/driver would comein 1,2 or 3 ) almost each time. So we would win, like 20 cents if it was a favourite, or once we won a little over $3! It was exciting :) What a fun day. I saw pink jelyfish and purple jellyfish and that was really cool too. I'd never seen those kind.
I'm having a really good time with Frank and Liz, they are good fun and nice to talk to. I will be visiting them in BC especially after all the adventures they've been telling me about.
I htink that tomorrow I will head back to Charlottetown and stay there till Friday, when I think I'm meeting up with my pal Kerri to go camping in Cape Breton Island. See? Still not alone! Now I really understand what people say when they say that you won't be travelling alone. You actually, reaLly, don't.
Okay, off for now, more later I'm sure. Free internet rules! Thanks hotel!
bye and thanks for tuning in

hey M, I love meeting people when travelling. The way other people experience things always gives something extra to the experience. I'm glad you found such nice people to hang out with, and cool you're going camping with your friend. Hope you're taking lots of pictures because these stories just make me want to abandon my weeds and go east! ;-)read you soon!
Marrrrianne!
I too am so glad that you found people to travel with and do things with! I'm not surprised though, since you have excellent people skills :)
You really do have a knack for writing too, and you're making me wish I were out East already. Oh well, one and a half more months to go.
My hat's off to you on the biking trips (note the slight hint of jealousy), and on living in French for the past while.
Keep the tales coming!
