Last weekend was Rendezvous winter festival ! It's a week long thing but it culminates into a big weekend celebration. We don't get family day, but we do get Heritage day on Rendezvous weekend so everyone can get out and see the sights (which include snowshoed can-can dancers!).
I participated in the corporate challenge with some co-workers, and we came second place! We killed the competition at smoosh boarding (see below) and tricycle racing, but got beaned on Yukon trivia. Hint to challenge planners: no need to use trick questions, Yukon history is nuts and is impossible to guess on the best of days.
The Property Management Inukshuks. We kicked ass in our Tyvek suits! Woo!
Globs of maple taffy make me very, very happy. Oh my god, so good.
Snow sculptures!
Cross country skiing around the airport across the street to see the planes and helis practicing the air show...sooooper coool.
So it as a killer weekend, we got out every day, and had some fun. It was warm and busy and good. Yay! Also the days are getting bright an loooong. I want to see when we start pulling ahead in terms of daylight from the south. I've got my airline sleep mask at the ready!

I agree - that's an awesome baby picture!
BEST. PHOTO. EVER. That has Rob written all over it!!...given that this photo is clearly pre-photoshop days, I'll have to accept that Rob's giant personality was uncontainable even at birth. Totally awesome.
Love love love all the pictures, especially the one of Rob. Too cute!
At first I didn't believe that that was an actual baby picture - but that is TOTALLY him! Too cute!
