Texas is a funny place

Hi! First I have to say Im borrowing a German computer so my punctuation will be worse than usual, and possibly some typos too because the keys are in a different order. Good thing I never learned to type properly so the hunt and peck technique is working for me.

Texas is good! The dfrive down was hell but Im over than now mostly and am enjoying the summer like weather in >Austin. When I get back Ill do a real update with some details of the sites weve visited, but let me say that there is a lot of good stuff going on in texas from wind farms to green building and solar energy like mad. it feels good to go on a tour of good things hapening. We went to t a Toyota dealership that was gren to the max and its highly successful. so crayy but economically it makes so much sense with the water conservation and saving working hours with more efficient operatins and gren materials. We also went to a green prototype walmart, so don#t mix up green with socially responsible. The bigger busineeses are terrified of being regulated to do all these greemn things in all their stores so they always say everything is an experiment.

Weve been to a retaurant called Chipotle that used to be owned by McDonalds that uyes all grain fed, non factory farmed meat in their burritos and salads. Non GMO, no antibiotics, the works. Wow!

Anyway, the trip is going well. Driving the van is fun with the exception of parking and parking garages >WHICH SUCK. I think driving robs van when i get home will belike driving a mini. Im looking forward to it.

Okay, lunch is on next door so i may wander through andsee if ther is anything left for me. I hope all is well where you guys are. Especially Batman! Your trip sounds amazing. Take care

I can't picture R's van being considered 'mini'. That's like calling "Mr. T" your run-of-the-mill, average guy.

Glad to hear you're having a good time in Texas!

the warmer weather is nice, eh? and using keyboards with weird letter locations must be tricky.. these ones have the exclamation points and things like that in weird places. it took us two days to figure out the @ symbol.

i´m good, j´s good, costa rica is amazing. we´ll have to get together before the semester is up and swap stories.
