Linky McConnection, we meet again...

Hola

Hey, I got some mad knitting done last night (not to be confused with angry knitting. I was in a good mood!) and I got the arms and ears of Kate done. The ears are two different sizes, though, so depending on how I feel about it all I may knit another, and then continue withe the two closest matching ones.

It's cool to have progress, hooray! I think all I have left are two legs and then sewing all the appendages on. I used up less yarn that I had hoped, but I guess c'est la vie with small endeavours.

This girl has a great crafty/knitting blog and she's really diligent about posting progress and pictures of all her stuff that she does. I love this skirt she made and a bunch of her knitting rocks as well. She's clearly really prolific and she talk the talk. I feel like it'll be so satisfying to have done enough that I can look at something and know that I can makeit in a reasonable amount of time. I mean, this chiquita makes some clothes that are wearable! Anyhoo, very inspirational.

Heh. Guess who found the 'links' button on her bloggerino page.

Finally, if strong language won't deter you (I find it makes this page funnier) check this out. It's a fantastic page that's really funny, and it's the epitome of snark meets cuteness. And, it's sometimes educational! My favourites so far are the otters, rolling around, laughing their asses off. This blog is totally a keeper for me.

Right-o. Have yourself a marvellous day.
